ADMISSIONS is a short film based on an award-winning script I wrote in 2021.
A spy noir thriller, it centers on the deadly power of lies.
It is currently in pre-production, due for release in 2026.

THE STORY
Admissions is a contest between truth and lies. In a small cafe on a rainy weeknight, a young man meets a professor to discuss graduate school. But Ryan is not the applicant he seems to be, and Dr. Sikora might be hiding an even bigger secret. What happens next is a verbal duel with mortal consequences.

In the wilderness of mirrors, lies stack upon lies, leading to a dizzying, fun-house maze.
​
Dr. Sikora tells Ryan that "lies are outed with evidence." They both lay out competing versions of reality, but do either of them offer evidence? Is one of them telling the truth, or does one lie reflect another, exaggerating and distorting reality until all that's left is to choose which version you prefer? In the end, a choice is made and someone dies. Whether or not it was the right person is left to you, but is your answer based on evidence, or is it merely a reflection of you?
